Let's get into fantasy now, suppose you've got power let it be of Hulk cool huh!!! you are green smashing everywhere have tremendous power now what you think, what you will do in real world? saving the world naah!!! instead you are saving yourself from government, terrorists and others to keep you and your power safe from exploitation they want you to do on you like we human do on guinea pigs and other animal models and that's whole epitome of the anime charlotte, it is weird huh !!!
Plot
Charlotte is 13 episode long complete series in which it shows the parallel world in which certain part of population of world got some powers after they hit puberty now how they get power it will be revealed in the series. Initially the story like first 5 episodes story revolves around the 4 characters and there story, small missions finding power holders, preventing them to misusing their power, little funny and some high school drama but as story grow real thrill starts coming after 5 episodes story seem moving at very fast pace start getting more open that why they are preventing powerholders to use their powers and trust me it is very dark.
The storytelling and revealing is very strong you cannot dare to blink your eyes as it feels like you will miss the important element of the story. you will get why who and how it was established and why this particular group is protecting and doing all this as, story moves you are going in a strong emotional rollercoaster ride that tear will roll out from your eyes and dumbfound in every episode.
It's storytelling is satisfying, music especially ZHEIND (https://youtu.be/ZMyf_wfPqD0) and it's backstory is never forgetting.
Thoughts
Ending is almost perfect but only one thing that was possible is to make more episodes and more exploring clearly telling the and clearly telling backstory of every character other than main character but again other part of my brain said it is perfect if they didn't maintain this fast pace it will be not as impactful at it is now so in short it is perfect binge watch for thrilling funny and sad experience.
Another part of charlotte that's completely my theory what I able to relate is that this anime conveys the message of animal cruelty in science using the animal models for clinical trials this anime via human models describe us what actual rats and guinea pigs think about scientist, there experiments and show us the psychology of animal when it go through all this pain of testing huh!! I don't want to make it gloomy at end it's amazing anime that opens up your thoughts and introduce with different perspective of human society.
